SrA. Aaron Hall Obituary

Background music  "TAPS"   (turn your volume on)

We come today to celebrate the home going of Senior Airman Aaron Jeff Hall, who departed this mortal life, June 1, 2019.  He was born to Peter and Jennifer Hall, while his dad (Peter) was stationed at Lindsey Air Station, Wiesbaden, Germany.  He was the youngest of two children (Peter Jr. and of course, Aaron).  His family moved from Germany in 1991 to Maryland, where his Dad was stationed @ the Pentagon.  Aaron was raised in Clinton, Maryland and received his education in many schools in the DC Metro area (from kindergarten to his freshman through senior years at Gwynn Park High School, Brandywine, Maryland).  His main subject at Gwynn Park was Italian and he played the snare drum the Gwynn Park Marching Band under the direction of Ms. Wheeler (freshman-senior years).  He graduated from Gwynn Park and received a band scholarship to attend Bowie State University, Bowie Maryland.  At Bowie State, he was the percussion section leader for the Bowie State Band under the leadership of Mr. Wright.  Also while at Bowie State, Aaron pledged Kappa Kappa Psi and successfully made it into that fraternity.

Aaron graduated from Bowie State and a few years later he proudly followed the foot-steps of his dad and enlisted in the United States Air Force, July 21, 2015, where he spent the next four years of his life in service to our Nation.  After completing Electronic Warfare Systems technical training at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, he was assigned to the 31st Maintenance Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy.  While stationed at Aviano, Aaron took advantage of the mountains and enjoyed snowboarding.  But most of all, he enjoyed being a good godly friend to everyone around him.  After his two year tour of Italy, Aaron was assigned to the 20th Component Maintenance Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.

Aaron Jeff Hall accepted Jesus Christ as his personal SAVIOR at an early age.  He served as a junior musician during children’s church at the Church of the Great Commission, Camp Springs, Maryland under the direction of Minister Cecelia Dill.  As he begin to master his percussion skills, he start playing at local churches in Maryland, Virginia and    Washington DC.  Lastly, he was the drum player for the Chapel Services at Shaw AFB Chapel, while Chaplain Markette served as his pastor until GOD called him home.

Aaron faithfully served his Nation by providing godly guidance and mentorship to both peers and his subordinates.  His self-less and positive attitude was felt wherever he went and he was consistently supportive to friends and co-workers at any time of need.  He was a mentor, leader and Wingman, but more than all of this, Aaron really loved the LORD and his family.

Left to cherish his precious memories are:  Peter Hall Sr. (Dad), Jennifer Hall (mother), both of Little Rock, Arkansas, Peter Jr. (brother) of Morrisville, North Carolina and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

THE SERVICES FOR AARON JEFF HALL, WILL BE WITH FULL MILITARY ESCORT FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE FUNERAL HOME. HONOR GUARDS, PATRIOT GUARD ESCORTS AND 21 GUN SALUTE, WILL BE AT THE CHURCH AND CEMETERY. WELL DESERVED!

(AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY, THERE WILL NOT BE A VIEWING)!

(POEM) I’M FREE

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me,

I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play,

Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Oh yes, these things I too, will miss

Be not burdened with times of sorrow; I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I’ve savored much; Good Friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now; He set me free.
