A GARDENER'S ALMANAC

VICKIE ANN TREADWAY HALL WAS BORN IN LITTLE ROCK, AR TO THE LATE CHARLES & ELSIE TREADWAY ON SEPTEMBER 24, 1954.  LIVING IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK, SHE ATTENDED AND GRADUATED FROM NORTH LITTLE ROCK HIGH SCHOOL WEST CAMPUS.  LATER, SHE WAS UNITED IN HOLY MATRIMONY TO THE LATE JAMES HALL. TO THIS UNION WERE BORN TWO DAUGHTERS; TERRI AND MELINDA. MOM ENJOYED GARDENING IN HER YARD, AND LOVED FOR HER YARD TO BE PRETTY. SHE ENJOYED COOKING, HER FAVORITE TREAT WAS DIET COKE FROM SONIC DRIVE-IN. EVERYONE KNEW THAT SHE WAS AN EXCELLENT FOSTER PARENT, BECAUSE SHE LOVED CHILDREN OF ALL NATIONALITIES. SHE SPENT THE MAJORITY OF HER LIFE AROUND CHILDREN, ESPECIALLY BABYSITTING THOSE OF ROSE CITY NORTH LITTLE ROCK. SHE WORKED FOR ROSE CITY DAYCARE, AND MANY YEARS FOR WAL-MART ON LANDERS ROAD IN SHERWOOD, AR, LATER TRANSFERRING TO THE WAL-MART STORE ON EAST McCAIN BLVD IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK WHERE SHE WORKED DILIGENTLY RAIN, SLEET OR SNOW SHE HAD TO GO, UNTIL HER HEALTH BEGAN TO FAIL.  MAMA HAD THE BIGGEST HEART AND SMILE, SHE WAS LOVED BY HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS EVERYWHERE, SHE LOVED HER FAMILY, FRIENDS, CHILDREN, SMALL DOGS, WAL-MART FAMILY AND ESPECIALLY HER BEST FRIEND WHO IS MRS. IRENE STARKS AND HER HUSBAND, THEY ENJOYED EACH OTHER’S COMPANY AND OFTEN WENT SEVERAL PLACES TOGETHER LIKE TO BRANSON, MO. AND THE JACK STEPHENS CENTER WHERE THEY HAD LOTS OF FUN. MOTHER WOULD TAKE IN ANYBODY WHO NEEDED HELP, SHE WAS SO KIND, AND GENEROUS WITH HER TIME AND RESOURCES TO ANYONE WHO ASKED.  MOM WOULD GO TO THE DELI MART WHERE SHE WOULD WORK ALL DAY SOMETIMES VOLUNTEERLY ACCEPTING NO PAY AT ALL.  WE MISS HER SO MUCH EVEN NOW, BUT SHE IS NOW IN A BETTER PLACE WHERE THERE IS NO MORE SICKNESS OR PAIN, NO MORE CRYING OR DYING JUST PRAISE AND REJOICING. GOD LOANED HER TO US FOR A MOMENT IN TIME, AND TIME CAME ON APRIL 15, 2019 FOR US TO RETURN MAMA BACK TO GOD WITH REJOICING AND PRAISE.  A VIRTUOUS WOMAN, SHE WAS. 

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE BROTHER; DENNIS TREADWAY.

THOSE LEFT TO CHERISH HER LOVE AND FUN; CHILDREN: TERRI HALL, MELINDA WALKER, LATAVIS WILLIAMS AND NATASHA RHODES. SIBLINGS; MICHAEL (KATHY) TREADWAY AND ELAINE CARR. GRANDCHILDREN: MaKAYLA WALKER, LaJAYVION JONES, ARCHAY STEWART AND BRIANNA WILLIAMS AND A HOST OF RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. “MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO.” 

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor 11:00 a.m. Monday April 22nd at Rose City Nazarene Church, 4611 Lynch Drive, North Little Rock. 

A very SPECIAL THANK YOU to Robinson Rehab & Nursing Facility in North Little Rock and Kindred Hospice for their exception care of our mother during her stay. May God continue to bless you.
