Andrietta Bonner was loaned to the late Andrew James and Jewelene Hart Bonner on February 25, 1949. She was brought up in Christianity at an early age but later
converted to Al- Islam and was entrusted to the Muslim Women’s association of The Masjid for Human Excellence.
She graduated from Marion Anderson High School in 1966, Brinkley, Arkansas and Horace Mann in 1967, Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended Business School at
Meremac in Layton, Missouri and later attended Thelma’s Beauty School in Little Rock, Arkansas where she graduated and received her Cosmetology License.
She was married plenty times, but always found time to advocate for people with disabilities. She traveled around the world advocating with the group ADAPT.
She was preceded in death by three brothers that returned to Allah; Andrew (AJ) James Bonner, Jr., Clenard (Sal) Bonner, and Jackie Bonner; two sisters Clendetta
Chatman and Avis Thames.
She leaves to cherish: her daughter Ayeisha Lee; two grandsons Zy’on Dewayne Stewart and Zayden Sal Stewart; one sister Judy Kendall-Baylark (Danelle); and
one brother Jerrell Bonner along with a host of relatives and friends. May Allah bless all knew and remember her as you last saw her.
