ANGELA LEE Obituary

Angela Lee 64 of Little Rock,

“LIFE’S JOURNEY OF A GOOD WOMAN”

Angela Yvette Lee the first child, born on Sunday, November 1,1959 to the late Robert Lee & Obria Lee Dupree, in Los Angeles, CA. She transitioned on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in Little Rock, AR. In her early school years, she showed exceptional intellect and would go on to play the violin at the age of nine. Once in junior high and senior high she would become very active in many schools' extracurricular activities. She would join the school's mixed choir, chess club, school newspaper, basketball, softball and cheerleading teams and receiving many awards and certificates for her contributions and participation. She graduated and received her diploma from Miami Killian Senior High School in Miami, Florida on June 14, 1977. She would also attend Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, UALR, and Pulaski Technical College both in Little Rock, Arkansas. She would later attend Allied College of Technical Science in Little Rock, Arkansas and received her diploma in phlebotomy.

Being so well rounded and intellectually gifted she would utilize her skills to hold positions for AT&T, Skippy Peanut Butter, Easter Seals, Vestcom, Leisure’s Arts, RGIS Inventory, American Red Cross and the HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) Program. She also testified before a United States Senate Committee, regarding poverty and working mothers accessing much needed resources for the families (many of whom were single mothers.) She enjoyed travelling and talking to others.

With her big blooming personality, radiant smile, quick and witty sense of humor she left a lasting impression everywhere she went. All while making lifelong memories and friendships. She is not the life of the party, she IS the party! She loved watching Jeopardy, old western shows, documentaries, and crime dramas. With her constant quest and passion for knowledge, she loved reading and would easily finish a novel in a day or two. She also loved braiding hair which she started at an early age. She would tell you she has "growing hands" for her remarkable ability to make anyone's hair grow.

She absolutely loved fishing and cooking, it was her favorite way of spending a great time with family and friends. She also loved a good card game, Spades and "Bid Whist" being her favorite, she won a few championship games with her great friend Shawna Carr.

With her impeccable sense of style and 5'10 stature she is a supreme fashionista in her own right, she loved getting "dressed to the nines" for any occasion.
