ARTHA "ART" LEE MORRIS
Obituary
Artha Lee Morris "ART" was born on August 9, 1948 in Elaine, Arkansas to the union of Albert and Josephine Morris.
Artha was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Joseph Morris, Lester Morris, Elton Morris, Ivory Morris, Albert Morris, Jr. and James Harrell, one sister Von Sills and daughter, Jamie Morris.
Artha was educated in Elaine, Arkansas He professed and was born into the body of Christ at an early age.
Artha was a United States Army Veteran from 1965 to 1968 receiving an Honorable Discharge. Artha attended Illinois Tech College and worked as a Computer Technician with A.B. Dick in Chicago, Illinois. He later moved to Arkansas where he worked for the Air Force base in Jacksonville, Arkansas
as an Assimilator, teaching students how to fly aircraft.
His hobbies included mechanics, motorcycle racing where he won an Arkansas championship as well as playing dominos.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Telecia E. Morris and Cristy (Constantina) Hanes, four grandchildren: Gavin, Tommie, Carlos and Kennady, two sisters: Wanda Jean (Vernon Lee) Trotter, Lucille Dodd, one brother: Bennie J. Morris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
