Barbara Fay Strick
October 30, 1936 – April 4, 2026

Barbara Fay Strick, age 89, passed away on April 4, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was born on October 30, 1936, in Broadwater, Nebraska, to Cecil and Barbara Spaur. She married the love of her life, Robert Eugene Strick, in Gering, Nebraska on April 29, 1960.

Barbara made her home in Fort Collins, Colorado beginning in 2006, where she spent many cherished years.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Barbara loved puzzle books, puzzles, romance novels, and enjoyed hobbies such as diamond art, sipping chai tea, knitting, crocheting, making hook rugs, painting, and cross-stitching.

Barbara was selfless and always put others before herself, having the patience of a saint. She loved fiercely and deeply, and her kindness and warmth touched all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Strick; her son, Cecil Eugene Strick; four brothers, one sister, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.

She is lovingly survived by her sister; her children, Liz, Susan, Andy, Barb, and Ava; as well as a large, devoted family including 23 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Barbara joined the angels during the most beautiful sunset surrounded by loved ones. Services are entrusted to Kelly Smith Funeral & Cremation Services.

At this time, no celebration of life is planned. The family will share details once arrangements have been made.
