Baraka Lee Smith

BARAKA SMITH 40 of Little Rock, passed on December 23, 2021. Baraka was born on October 2, 1981 to the late Bennie and Lillian Smith.

She was Baptized as an infant at Union A.M.E. Church in Little Rock, where she was a faithful member as a child and teenager. She served as as Acolyte, Sunday School pianist, assistant organist for the adult choir, Young People's Bible Study Class, Drama Ministry, Vacation Bible School, and the Young People Department. Baraka ranked high academically.

She had a great passion for reading, writing, debating various subjects, buying sheet music and playing it on her piano.

Baraka leaves to cherish her loving memories her mother, Lillian Smith; her daughter, Charlee Avalon Smith; grandson, Kindrik Smith; brother, Bennie Smith II; and a host of other relatives and friends.
