On January 31st 2021, Charlotte Faye Bennett Staggs, 73, passed away peacefully in Little Rock surrounded by loved ones.
Charlotte was born in Memphis, TN to Robin Gill Bennett and Tom N. Bennett of Blytheville AR. She graduated from Blytheville High School, class of 1965, and Arkansas State University, class of 1969.
After college, she worked for the Girl Scouts of America, then became a teacher, and finally completed her calling to be a minister in the United Methodist Church, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed volunteering in her community through Meals on Wheels, the Humane Society, and the local food pantry.
She is preceded in death by her son, Aaron Bennett; her parents; sister, Barbara Lowe; and brother, Tommy Bennett, Jr. She is survived by her three children, Robert Gill Staggs (Sasha) of Benton, Missouri; Cathleen McFarlin (Mickey) of Little Rock, and Caroline Criswell (Tyler) of Rochester, Minnesota; and her five grandchildren: Payton Leigh and Trenton Robert Staggs; and Henry, Bennett and Ruby Louise McFarlin.
A memorial service will occur at a later date at Dell United Methodist Church.
