THE FAMILY HAS REQUESTED THAT THE VISITATION (11:00 - 12:15) WILL BE AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON SATURDAY PRIOR TO GOING TO THE CEMETERY AT 12:30, FOR THE 1:00 GRAVESIDE SERVICE AT HAVEN OF REST.

A FAMILY GATHERING AND REPAST LUNCHEON WILL BE HELD IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE INTERMENT AT HOPE CHURCH 2200 KAVANAUGH BLVD LITTLE  ROCK, 72203

Deanna Kay Ellington Robinson transitioned to her heavenly home on January 1, 2025. Kay was born to Minor  'Thomas' and Mable Jean Ellington on April 13, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended Ole Main High School and graduated in 1975. After graduation, she pursued an accounting degree at the prestigious Tuskegee University in Alabama and the University of Arkansas Fayetteville.

Kay was always a faithful servant to the Word of God. She loved visiting various churches and gaining greater insight, which helped her to stay connected to the Lord. Kay loved 'thrifting' more than anything. She spotted bargains a mile away. The family always received blessings from her thrifting adventures. Kay cared for others and always sought to provide for family, friends and strangers.  She always looked for ways to improve her community through various projects and initiatives.

Waiting for Kay in heaven are her parents and one sister, Pamela Ellington. She leaves on earth her only child, Christopher Robinson; three sisters, Cecilia Ellington, Monica Ellington, Mavis (Patrick) Ellington;  five brothers, Alan Ellington, Richard Ellington, Grady (Mary) Ellington, Lloyd (Carrie) Ellington and Orean Ellington; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives, friends.

A WALK THROUGH VISITATION will be held on Friday, January 16, 2025, from 5-7 pm, at the funeral home's O.T. Smith & Sons Memorial Chapel. Kelly Smith Funeral & Cremation Services (8424 Kanis Road * 501-612-5607) will be serving the Ellington/Robinson families. A 1:00pm Celebration of life services will be held graveside on Saturday, January 17, 2025  at Haven of Rest Cemetery, 6800 West 12th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas
