Our Lord and Savior felt that it was time to call his most beautiful angel home, an angel who gave tirelessly and loved each, and every person that she encountered. GAYNELL STARKS PETERSON, was born to the late Mr. Pearlie Starks and Mrs. Lena Moses Starks on December 1, 1938 in Kerr, Arkansas. She was one five children to this union. Gaynell attended Biscoe High School. Later she united with Roy L. Peterson Sr., to this union was born Roy L. Peterson Jr. Sister Peterson was a faithful member of the McAlmont Church Of Christ from April 27, 1975 until her health began to decline. She was employed with Kmart and Walmart stores.
Gaynell enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, friends and church. Watching old western movies, soap operas, especially "Young & The Restless" was some of her favorite past times. Oh, and let us not forget that she loved travelling and talking on the phone. She treated everyone as family didn’t see any flaws or imperfections… She loved with all of her heart, and embodied the true spirit of the Bible daily. Fully understanding God‘s word of “you reap what you sow”, and do to others what you would have them do to you.
On May 21, 2024 our lives changed drastically. We will never hear your voice again, we will never hold you again, We will never hear you tell us that you love us, and that you love me more because you’re the oldest. But we will forever hold our memories we shared, our trips we took, our daily phone calls, your carelessly giving your last to any and everyone, and you giving your very honest opinions. we're sure that we all have many memories to share because of the person she was. You will truly be missed by us all and we love you.
As you have said many times to us all never say goodbye but “I WILL SEE YOU IN THE SOUP THATS WHAT THE POTATO TOLD THE TOMATO!
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Auther Starks, sister; Dora Fuller and brother-in-law; Oscar Fuller and sister-in-law; Ruby Starks.
