HERMAN LEE HUSSEY, JR. 70, was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on August 27, 1950 to the late Herman Lee (and Josie) Hussey Sr. He attended school in the Jefferson County area, later moving to Little Rock where he attended and graduated from Horace Mann High School. After graduation, he enlisted into the U.S. Army and served his country for many years and received several medals and an honorable discharge. 

"Herman Jr." As he was commonly called by his family and friends lived in North Little Rock. He  worked for Arkansas Employment Security Division assisting Veterans to find jobs. 

Later, he moved to Dallas, TX where he worked as a mail clerk at the VA Medical Center. Then moving back to Arkansas, his final place of employment was with the Arkansas Dept. Of Workforce as an Administrative Assistant. Each of his jobs was always helping others to do better.

Herman fellowshipped with St. Mark Baptist Church. 

 Herman Jr.  transitioned from this life into eternity on Thursday October 15th 2020. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, and his parents; Herman Sr. and Josie Hussey, Siblings; Richard and Michael Hussey and Tunita Thornton. He is survived by his son; Herman LeRon (Cassandra) Hussey, grandchildren; Breanna and Devin Hussey, Siblings; Larry Hussey, Joyce Palmer, Lawrence (Tina) Hussey, Evelyn (Gregory) Clark, Cameron (LaToya) Faulkner, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday October 22nd from 2:00-6:00 pm. at the funeral home's O.T. Smith Memorial Chapel.                      Graveside service 12:00 Friday October 23rd at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery North Little Rock (NO VIEWING ALLOWED AT THE CEMETERY).
