Isaiah Darrell Chandler was born to Tracey Chandler and Jacquelyn Poindexter in Little Rock.  "A man that finds a wife, has found a good thing." He was united in Holy Matrimony to Carolyn Mixon on October 31, 2014.  Isaiah accepted Christ at an early age. He wrote several grants so that  he and his wife can open a halfway house to mentor others who have strayed into wrong paths. He attended Little Rock Central High School, he was a very talented person, his smile would light up a room. Isaiah enjoyed singing, drawing, poetry,  playing basketball. Isaiah had the honor of studying Martial Arts under the instruction of Mr. Anderson of Anderson Taekwondo in North Little Rock he also loved hanging out with his older brother Christopher, and being around his family. He  enjoyed helping his mother clean and cook. He is preceded in death by his Grandfathers; Rev. Artie Paul (AP) Poindexter, and John Sevier Sr., Great Grandmother;   Mrs. Mc' Obea "Mrs. B" "MaDear" West.  Grand Mother; Thelma Chandler. Father; Tracey Chandler, and one Sister; Brittany LaChelle. He leaves to enjoy  his memories: Wife; Carolyn Mixon Chandler (who is the Dispatcher of 11 years for CAT/ Rock Region Metro Bus).  Although Isaiah had no biological children, he was blessed with [ 5 ] Children; Jennifer Mixon, Christopher Montgomery Jr., James Grant Jr., Jaylan Grant and Ja Christian Grant. [ 2 ] Grandchildren; MiKayla Shepherd and Isaiah Walls all through Carolyn. He gained an instant family whom he loved and they loved him. Grandmothers;   BJ McCray, Katherine Medlock-Buren, and Deloris Dillard-Binns, God Grandmother; Betty Dyer-Plant. His Mother; Minister Jacque Poindexter,  Isaiah's Siblings; (Brothers) Christopher Poindexter Sr., Tony Phillips Jr., Kevin Dillard Jr., Andrew-Paul Dillard.

(Sisters) Taquisha Phillips, Tionney Phillips-Dillard, Endeah "Amber"  Dillard. Special Aunts; Barbara Leonard-Woodbury, Sandra Phillips, Comeasha Daughtery and Sherry Chandler. Stepfather; Kevin Dillard Sr., [ 8 ] Nephews,             [ 4 ] Nieces and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Relatives and Friends. " Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning." Losing a loved one is very devastating and often causes a financial hardship. Today, is this family. Tomorrow, it may be yours.
