Jayla Danielle Buford was born March 30, 1996 to Monica Lynn Tyler and Green Buford.
She was educated in the Little Rock School District and Pulaski County School District where
she graduated from Maumelle High School. She received her Associates Degree from Pulaski
Vo-Tech and Bachelors Degree from UALR in Business Administration.
Jayla joined Lee Chapel AME Church at a young age where she was very active in the youth
choir, YPD, praise dance team and Sunday School as well as the Leadership Training Institute
at various conferences.
Jayla truly treasured traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
One of her favorite pastimes was the once a month “cousin night out” where they shared stories
and ‘teased’ each other in a loving manner.
She was the creator and operator of “PeintedGlosses”.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Courtney Shack. She leaves to cherish her memories,
her mother, Monica Tyler and father, Green Buford; A special dad Kenny Brown, grandparents,
Byron and Joyce Jarrett, John Roberson and Earnestine Smith; four sisters, Kennedy Brown,
Tenisha Buford, Geniese Buford-Simpson (Dion), Gelisa Buford; four uncles and four aunts; six
nephews, two nieces, one great niece and one great uncle; one great Aunt Emogene Toms; one
great Uncle McElree Tyler and as well as a multitude of extended family and her special friends.
