JESSE "BENNIE" SANDERS

Jesse “Bennie” Sanders 86, of Little Rock, passed away April 15, 2016. Jesse was born May 13, 1929 in Little Maumelle, AR to the late Freddye Tinsley Norwood and the late Jesse Mac Sanders. He was preceded in his death by his parents; Daughter: Loronda Boone; loving father Isaiah Norwood; Brothers, Robert and Ernest Sanders. Bennie was a Master Brick Mason by trade, with his family known as Sanders & Norwood Brick Contractors in the Pankey Addition. He was an Electrical Engineer by teaching. Daddy enjoyed working with his hands, he always said “ a man that won’t work, won’t eat.” We will miss our daddy. He leaves to cherish his memories: Children: Jesse “Nell” (Rhonda), Larry, Pam, Dwayne, Lori (Earl), Tammy (Billy), Chris (Margie), Lil Tammy  and Rita, 39 Grandchildren,  42 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren, Siblings: Rose Bickerstaff, Marie Smith, Belver Nelson (Milton), Brenda Norwood, Sandra Love, Regina Norwood, Brenda Henson,  Natalie Willis (Andrew), Wade Norwood (Shirley), Gerald Norwood, Rose Mary Phillips, Wanda Faye Dillard (Louis), Jessie Leon Sanders, Jeri Walker (Terry), James Sanders

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 23, 2016 at 12 P.M. (Public viewing will be from 11:00-12:00) at Bullock Temple C.M.E. Church, 1513 South Park Little Rock, AR 72202
