JOEY A. CARTER

Joey A. Carter 57, of Little Rock, AR passed away on February 9, 2025. Joey was born on September 9, 1967, to the late Legendary "Leo Jocko” Carter and Lillie M. Carter.

He was a 1985 graduate of Little Rock Central High School.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter Michel’le (Alonzo) Simmons of Little Rock AR; and son Cortez (Marissa) Kendrick of Sherwood, AR. Three sisters: Marsha (Henry) Hill of Allen, TX., Genia F. Carter-White of Little Rock, AR and Phyllis L. Carter-Kendrick, one brother Leo (Fannie) Carter Jr. of Dallas, TX. Three grandchildren: Kaiden Fitch, Kace Simmons, and Karter' Jai Simmons. Eight nephews, four nieces, one great-niece, one great-nephew and a host of relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be on Sunday February 16th, from 3-5pm at Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church 1823 South Wolfe Street.
