Obituary:
MONIE TOWNSEND 76 of North Little Rock transitioned into eternity on Saturday February 22, 2020. She was born on October 16, 1943 in Hensley, Arkansas. to the late Naomi Gatlin. Monie Will be remembered for her love and kind heart to others, strong will, and beautiful smile and voice. She live d a great and blessed life. She loved spending time with loved ones and going to church on Sundays and Wednesdays. Her favorite hobbies was working cross-word puzzles, watching sci-fi movies,planting red roses, collecting teddy bears and porcelain dolls over the years. In her earlier years,she love to fish and travel to different states. Her favorite saying would be "DON'T YOUR GRANNY LOOK GOOD?" even her last days, she made sure that she kept a beautiful smile on her face. As she transitioned into eternity, she leaves to cherish her love, her legacy, and her life; her four children, daughters; Renita (Jimmy) Vasser of North Little Rock, Ark., Cynithia Bell of North Little Rock, Ark., her sons; Keith (Sharon) Bell of Little Rock, Ark. and Robert Bell of North Little Rock, Ark., her five grandchildren; Keosha, Markeita, Raquel Hampton, Michael and Catrise Patterson all of Little Rock, Ark. and her four great-grandchildren. And a host of relatives and friends
Family Hour 6-7 p.m. Friday, February 28th. Funeral Service 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 both will be at Southside Church Of Christ, 9300 Geyer Springs Road in Little Rock. Interment at Rest In Peace Cemetery in Hensley, Ark. Kelly Smith Funeral & Cremation Services, (8424 Kanis Road * 501-612-5607) will be serving the Townsend families.
