Rachel Mittie Jordon 83, walked into the gates of heaven on December 16, 2021. She was born in Hensley, AR on December 29, 1937 to Will and Mittie Halton who preceded her in death.
She attended JC Cook High School in Wrightsville, AR.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Ray Jordon, her son Richard Jordon and grandson Antonio Harris, SR.
She is survived by her daughter Gloria Harris (Leotis, Sr.), Cassandra Finn and sons Gary Bridgeford and Ray Jordon. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Leotis Harris (Tina), Derrick Harris (Remy), Gary Bridgeford Jr, Michael Harris(Kim), Katrina Dailey, Kristina Finn, Krystal Mitchell, Tasha Butts Kristopher Finn, Ryan Jordon, Teddy Davis(Chikita), Montaye Jones, Brianna Burks Jamel Jordon, Keyana Jordon,
Rayana Jordon, Akilah Bridgeford and Kashana Bridgeford. She has 37 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, two sisters Judy Halton and Omae Mitchell.
Rachel baby sat many children in her home for over 20 years. To know her was to lover her. Often, she would cook and clean for the elderly in the community. She loved to sing, talk, cook and serving others. Rachel enjoyed cooking for her family. She has the best 7-up and German chocolate cake around. Rachel was a breast cancer survivor. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved watching Family Feud and soap operas, working her word search puzzles and. Rachel also enjoyed talking to her best friend Shirley Watkins on the phone. She is loved and will be missed by many.

Well everyone I’m on my journey to heaven to be with the Lord, my mom, my dad, my son, my grandson
and my brothers and sisters. this is not the time for sadness this a time for celebration. I am singing and
shouting. I am resting. No more pain no more sorrow. I am at peace. So no tears of sadness but tears of
joy. Lets celebrate my homegoing. I love each and everyone of you. I am gone but I never be forgotten.
