Robbie Sue Daniels Johnson was born to the late Mr. Robert Earl Daniels and Mrs. Joyce Daniels on August 16, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Robbie gave her life to Christ at an early age and later joined Payne Chapel AME Zion Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended schools in the Little Rock School District and graduated in the Class of 1976 from Parkview High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Upon graduation she attended Baptist School of Nursing and graduated as a Registered Nurse. She furthered her education by earning a Masters’ degree in Nursing from Deaconess School of Nursing.

Robbie was a very devoted and caring nurse at St. Vincent Hospital where she retired after more than 30 years of service and during that tenure she was nominated as “Employee of the Year” multiple times. She was not just concerned about the patients’ physical being, but also about their soul and their relationship with the Lord. She prayed with and for her patients and their families daily.

Robbie was a very dedicated, faithful, committed, loving and compassionate member of Payne Chapel AME Zion Church for over 20 years. Robbie Johnson was a true woman of God.  She wore many hats at Payne Chapel where she served as an usher, a member of the Trustee Board, as well as the President of the Evangelism Team. She was a student of the word whether in Sunday School or in Bible Study.  She loved to share her love of Christ as often as she could, wherever she could. She was always willing to share with anyone in need.

She departed this life on Sunday, June 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Robert E. Daniels, sister; Mrs. Ruth Ann Daniels, grandfather; Mr. Rueben Moore, grandmothers; Mrs. Susie Mosely and Mrs. Dorothy Mae Jones, and an aunt; Mrs. Della Montgomery.

Robbie leaves to cherish her memory; mother, Mrs. Joyce Daniels; two brothers, Robert L. Daniels of Little Rock, AR and Harrell W. Daniels of North Little Rock, AR; three sisters, Othenia Dowell and Rose (Jeff) Neal of Little Rock and Wanda Parks of Round Lake, IL and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
