On April 6, 2021, Lance Corporal Robert L. Purvis, a loving father and caring grandfather, passed at the young age of 63. Affectionately known to those who loved and knew him best as Bob.
Bob was born September 11, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Melvin and Robbie Jo Purvis. Bob was a proud Marine and master tradesman who traveled the world.
He was a skilled storyteller who could regale you with the stories of stolen gems across the African savanna, to rubbing shoulders with the sheikhs of Dubai. He was known for his quick wit, kind and compassionate spirit.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Jonathan. He is survived by his children: Stephanie, Jennifer, Jake, and grandchildren: Jacob, Kayden, Gabriel, Leah, Laina, and siblings: Elaine, Ann, Mike, Charlie, Steve, Joe, Rachel, and nephews and nieces: Josh, Jared, Jeremy, Nathaniel, Nick, Gregory, Holly, Kevin, Haleigh, Courtney, Jonathan, and many friends.
