Ryan Keith Montgomery was born May 14, 1990 in Little Rock, AR to Ray Anthony Montgomery and Sherry Montgomery-Banks. He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 10, 2021.
Ryan spent his early educational years at William Jefferson Clinton Elementary School in Sherwood, Ar. He attended Fuller Middle School, and graduated from Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High School in 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR in 2012. Ryan professed Christ at an early age, at Conor Chapel/Rufus King Young AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Rickey Hicks. From graduation, Ryan was employed with FedEx ( Little Rock and North Little Rock locations) as an assistant manager.
Family has always been one of Ryan’s great joys, whether biological or just in close relations. In June 2018, his greatest joy, his son Chandler Drew was born. Ryan proved to be an amazing and loving Dad to Chandler.
Ryan was preceded in death by William and Velma Muldrew, his beloved maternal grandparents, William and Mary L. Montgomery, loving parental grandparents and Aunt Linnie Linsy.
Ryan leaves to Cherish his memories, his son Chandler Drew McKay-Montgomery, Ryan’s Dad, Ray Montgomery, his Mom Sherry Banks, two sisters Whitleigh and Rae all of Little Rock, Ar. His uncles William Montgomery Jr.( Carol) of Memphis, TN, Ulysses ( Laura), Timothy (Phyllis) of Little Rock, Ar., Christopher Montgomery (Lucille) of Woodson, Ar. Kenneth Muldrew (Patricia), Larry Muldrew (Patricia), William Darryl Muldrew ( LeAnita),of Hope, Ar, and Reginald Muldrew (Betty) of Magnolia, Ar. His Aunts, Valarie Wofford (Timothy) of Little Rock, Ar, Rose Williams of Little Rock,AR and Anita Kelly of Woodson,AR. A host of cousins, friends and loved ones, including his son’s mother, Cordnie McKay and a special childhood friend and brother Trenton Cooksey and God Mother Tajuana Johnson.
To know Ryan is to love him. We will always cherish and remember his kind heart and loving quiet spirit. We will miss his warm and captivating smile. He will forever be in our hearts.
