Renee (Nae Nae) Young

Marla Renee (Nae Nae) Young 51 born in North Little Rock, AR to the late Leon  Sr. and Dorothy Young. She was a Class of 1982 Little Rock Central High School Graduate. Nae Nae, as most people referred to her by,  was a loving Christian person,  loved her family and she always smiled, loved sports and especially football,  the Razorbacks were her favorites. On December 12, 2015 around 2:30 a.m. Nae Nae  heard a trumpet blowing from the gates of Heaven playing "When the Gates Swing Open," I'll Walk In. So that she didn't go alone, a band of Angels escorted her in.  Preceded in death by her father, and two brothers: Leon Jr. and Stephen. She leaves to cherish her love; Mother: Dorothy Young, Children: SheKedra (Avery) Harris, Britnee Young,  a Special Daughter: Cannada Henderson, Grandchild: Kynnedi Harris, Siblings: (Sisters) Barbara Mackey, Debbie McJunkins, Karen Gardner, LaDonna (Leonard) Walton, Yvette Young, Brothers: Thomas and Kerry Sr. Young, and a host of other relatives and friends. Although she's gone from our eyes, she is never gone from our hearts, neither will she ever be forgotten. We miss her very much, already. Please keep our family in your prayers. Arrangements are as follow; family hour 6-8pm Friday, and the funeral will be 1:00pm Saturday. Both services will be at New Hope Baptist Church in Glenview (NLR). Gillespie & Kelly Funeral Home (Kelly Smith Funeral Director) will be serving the Young families.
