SHIRLEY HALL-WATSON

Shirley Hall Watson 75, born Sept. 23, 1947 to the late Ella Rean Butler and Joseph Lesley Hall, departed this life Aug. 21, 2023. She graduated from Scipio A. Jones High School in 1965. She worked at Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles for thirty-five years. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brothers, Charles, Richard , and Joseph Hall, and Roddie Mason; one granddaughter, J’Lynn Watson. She is survived by her son, Thurman Watson Jr. (LaTerra), two granddaughters, India Amel and Ilana Simone Watson; godson Daveon Ross; sister, Patricia Hall Rasul of Maumelle, Ark.; aunt, Velma Stroud of Los Angeles, Calif.; nieces; nephews; cousins; special cousin, Joseph (Benny) Hall ; and many friends.
Funeral Services entrusted to Harrison-Ross Mortuary, 4601 S. Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif. 90042. Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Great Shepard MBC, 6407 S. Normandie Ave, Los Angeles, Calif. 90047.
