Sherry "TINY" A. Porchia

Mrs. Sherry A. Porchia also known as “Tiny” was called home by the Lord Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was born on April 2, 1948 to Robert and Lois Wicks in Little Rock, AR.
Mrs. Sherry attended Horace Mann High School and attended Southern Technical College where she graduated with Honors with her Associate Applied Science Degree in Electronics
Technology from Southern Technical College.

Mrs. Sherry retired from Power Technology December 19, 2017, dedicating an honorable 26 years of service. While working at Power Technology she received a slew of Awards of

Preceded in death by her mother Lois Wicks, father Robert Wicks, son Xavier Porchia, daughter Lourinda Hernandez, brother Jerry Thomas, brother Charles Wicks, brother Marvin Wicks, and
sister Helen Griffin.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

She is survived by her husband of 48years; Alexander, AR Virgil Porchia, daughter Stephanie Wicks of Alexander, AR, son; Virgil Porchia Jr of Kansas City, MO, daughter; Belinda (Darryl)
Clapp of Kansas City, MO, son; Jerry (Brigitte) Porchia of Kansas, MO, sister; Claudette Lamar, sister; Wilma Hamilton, brother; Robin (Danette) Wicks, brother; Robert Wicks, bonus children,
Marcia Newborn, Rita Kamil, Angela Harris, Michael Collins, Mark Collins, Anthony Collins, Patricia (Collins) Dunn , John Collins. and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Sherry was so very caring and loving with a big heart. She may have not been that mother who said I love you to her children often, but know as we knew, she loved her children more
than anything in the world. Her siblings were very dear to her and she was their protector by all means. She LOVED her music (especially gospel) with her headphones, harmonica, and her preferred drink LOL! The neighborhood kids always knew about the candy bowl, which everyone still goes to.

Visitation 11:00-12:30, funeral 12:00. Both services will Saturday July 22nd at Lee Chapel A.M.E. Church 421 W. 22nd Street North Little Rock.
