Mr. Waymon Lee Harris 61 of Little Rock, AR was born in Scott, AR to the late Gerome and Lela Harris on December 9, 1956. Waymon went home to be with his parents and other friends and family members, on Sunday March 18, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center of Little Rock. Waymon, attended school in Tucker, AR. he was known as "GQ" by some of his family, because he enjoyed cooking, one aunt called him Mr. Belvedere. He was a jokester  towards those he liked. He became homeless after working  many years as a cemetery caretaker here in Little Rock. His family loss touch with him, and found out about his passing  after an obituary notice was  placed the Arkansas Democrat Gazette Obits section by Kelly Smith Funeral & Cremation Services LLC. A kind and Godly lady, Mrs. Cora Johnson of no relation would often invite him into her home with her family, and  feed him on Sundays when he went past her house. Waymon was kind to others,  just fail on hard times. The people at Madison Health & Rehab said that many people there really enjoyed and loved him and he will be missed. As we all know, this could happen to anyone of us at the blink of an eye. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Bobby and one sister; Marie. He is survived by two brothers; Donnell Fisher and Fred Lee Fisher, Uncles; Henry "Bob" and Richard "Ricky" Howard, Aunts; Elizabeth Johnson, Gloria Randolph, Marie Howard Maryann Hayes and Rosie Howard. a very special caring person; Mrs. Cora Johnson and her family, his friends at Coleman Auto Repair on Roosevelt Road and a few family members. We would like to acknowledge some very special people for their many acts of kindness shown toward Waymon while he journeyed to his new eternal home. Brother Paul and Friendly Chapel Church of North Little Rock, Rev. These people (organizations), didn't asked to be recognized, but as Presiding Elder Rev. Bill A. Bowers of the A.M.E. Church, once said. "people don't have to be nice, but when they do, we should show OUR appreciation towards them." So, we do so, today. And may God continue to bless these people (organizations) and their families and their outreach ministries. It is when you do for those who cannot do for themselves, that you show yourself friendly.
